Anode Replacement
A galvanic anode, or sacrificial anode, is the main component of a galvanic cathodic protection system used to protect a vessel from corrosion. They are designed to corrode in place of the more valuable and critical components of your boat’s engine and hull.
There are different metal types of anodes, like zinc, aluminum or magnesium. For Florida salty waters, zinc anodes are the most appropriate ones.
In general, anodes should be replaced every half year, but it may depend on the vessel use and water salinity.
There is no need to dry dock your vessel. We will perform the service underwater.
Price is per replaced anode unit. Material is charged separately.
